We see what you see,
so you can focus on your business!

February 1995 – Tony D’Attoma and Jason Georgie start Vision Transportation and move their first shipment. They were working out of a small office and warehouse facility in Mississauga, Ontario near Dixie Road and Highway 401. The goal is to create a full service transportation company with added emphasis placed on customer service and reliability.

January 1998 – Vision Transportation purchases land in the Mississauga Road / Highway 401 area of Mississauga. Construction begins, and by November that same year, Vision employees move into their new 25,000 square foot facility.

February 1999 – Vision starts up F1 Transport Systems, a full service trucking company. With the addition of F1 Transport, along with the land and building in Mississauga, Vision Transportation truly becomes an asset based company.

September 2007 – Vision Transportation purchases 10 acres of land in Belleville, Ontario for construction of a 50,000 square foot warehouse and office facility. This provides customers with options for warehousing outside of the GTA at a fraction of the cost. Because of its close proximity, freight can be moved same day from Belleville to the GTA. With very little disruption in service, the only thing missing with Vision in Belleville is a high warehousing bill every month.

January 2011 – Business is growing, and an expansion of 50,000 square feet to the warehouse in Belleville begins. This, combined with industry leading “Accellos” warehouse software allows Vision to provide its customers with a true pick / pack and ship service.

February 2013 – Vision Transportation starts up their Intermodal Department. “Vision Intermodal” provides a full door solution, no different that the service that had been provided by truck for the past 18 years. Vision Intermodal is an IMC (Intermodal Marketing Company) and is a member of IANA (Intermodal Association of North America). This represents the final piece of the puzzle that now makes Vision Transportation a true third party logistics provider. The service to our customers has never been more complete.

February 2014 – Business continues to grow. Another expansion in Belleville brings total capacity there to 200,000 square feet. This expansion provides Vision Transportation with flexibility and space to better service our customers

July 2016 – Vision expands warehousing into the GTA with startup of a new 200,000 square foot facility located in Brampton Ontario.

November 2016 – Vision completes purchase of 40 acres of land in Belleville Ontario for future development of additional warehouse.

December 2016 – Vision and F1 move from old Mississauga facility into brandnew combined facility in Brampton Ontario.

January 2017 – Vision’s Belleville warehouse completes its GFSI Food-Grade Certification
